Sales Manager – North America

We are looking for a Sales Manager for our client Lovink. The company, headquartered in the Netherlands is a global leader in innovative solutions for industrial applications, known for its high-quality products and customer-focused approach. They focus exclusively on medium voltage underground splices, offering unmatched expertise. With over 100 years of expertise and a global presence, they are now entering the US market. Therefore, Lovink is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager on the East Coast to drive growth and strengthen key customer relationships.

Position Overview
The Sales Manager – North America will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach, capable of understanding customer needs and delivering value-driven solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a relevant network and will work closely with the global sales team and report directly to the Global Sales Director in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through consultative and value-based selling.
  • Attend and represent Lovink at industry events, trade shows, and networking conferences.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering & Design to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials.
  • Manage the sales funnel, ensuring a structured approach to prospecting and closing deals.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial contracts within established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM systems.
  • Travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the sales process.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in consultative sales in a similar industry.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A Network in Utility companies and Energy providers is a must.
  • Proven ability to drive value-based sales and understand customer technical requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a strategic mindset to drive margin growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives.
  • Experience managing large accounts and executing complex sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client visits and industry events.
