Gaston Medical develops highly advanced software for various organizations in the medical sector. Our core technology is Gaston, a self-designed and built ICT architecture for the development and implementation of medical decision support systems. These ICT-driven alerting and advisory systems assist healthcare providers in daily patient treatment and care, and in preventing erroneous decisions. We believe healthcare can always be improved. By working with professionals from day one and continually delving into the information needs of our customers, we create the ideal software. We achieve this by integrating alerting systems into existing information systems in healthcare institutions, supporting practitioners to act in accordance with professional guidelines. What are you going to do? You are motivated and responsible for your 'own' software, which is deployed in hospitals throughout the Netherlands. You will work closely with a small team of developers/software architects in Eindhoven, Maastricht, and Hoorn. Additionally, you will engage with our customers in hospitals because we believe it is crucial to align optimally with our customers' information needs. What can you offer us?

• You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree (Computer Science or similar technical discipline)
• Experience with .NET and possibly other languages such as Python and/or Delphi.
• Experience with mission-critical applications is important
• You program in a SOLID manner
• You work accurately and pay attention to detail
• You are committed to continuously improving your programming skills
• Experience with Git, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL is a plus

• Experience with UML modelling and software development methodologies, especially OO and/or CBD, is a plus
• Knowledge and preferably experience in applying Microsoft Server products (e.g., IIS, Windows Server, MS SQL Server)
• Good knowledge of XML, JSON, REST
• Relevant work experience in the field is an advantage but not a strict requirement
• Knowledge of - and experience with SCRUM or other Agile development methodologies
• Your language proficiency (Dutch and English) is good to excellent
