Java/J2EE Developer

Job Description As a Java/J2EE Developer, you will: Design and develop complex applications that are maintained by different teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality checked code. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment. Work with CI-CD tools to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Participate in Agile development practices and Scrum activities. Develop and maintain APIs and Web Services using REST and SOAP protocols. Utilize version control systems like Git and build systems such as Maven. Bring in knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Pivotal or other cloud technologies. What You Bring to the Table: 8-10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development with a focus on application design and implementation. 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing applications using Java 8 or higher. 5+ years of experience working with the Spring Framework (version 4.0 or higher). 2+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot 2 or higher. Proven experience (2+ years) in developing RESTful APIs and Web Services. Good understanding of Relational Databases with 3+ years of hands-on experience with Hibernate 5.0 or higher. Strong knowledge of version control (Git) and build systems (Maven). Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (preferably Azure or similar). Excellent communication, team collaboration, and emotional intelligence (EQ) skills. You should possess the ability to: Adapt quickly and learn new technologies and frameworks as required. Work effectively within Agile teams and contribute to scrum activities. Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications with a focus on scalability and performance. Troubleshoot and optimize code to ensure efficient and smooth operation. Effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.
