This is what you will do

As senior financial controller, together with the senior financial staff and the business controller, you form the financial conscience of the organization. You are ultimately responsible for the timely periodic closings and for the financial input of the financial statements. In addition, you get to work on complex financial issues. You enjoy tackling these issues together with driven finance professionals. You dare to proactively identify irregularities and come up with workable areas for improvement. You are also good at maintaining contact with management and (external) auditors. You are a convincing discussion partner for management and/or the board of directors.

• You are ultimately responsible for accurate and complete financial records and monthly closings.
• You are ultimately responsible for financial reporting and analysis.
• Together with your financial colleagues, you will prepare the financial statements.
• You are the connecting link between the auditor and the organization.
• You identify any financial bottlenecks and come up with solutions.
• You will contribute to the improvement of financial administrative processes and procedures.
• You advise and guide your financial colleagues on financial issues.

What we ask

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management Studies or similar.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a financial controller or similar position.
• You work accurately, are results-oriented, have good prioritization skills and keep your commitments.
• You are able to spar with all levels of the organization: from the leaders in the boardroom to the employees in the department.
• You are results-oriented, can prioritize well, make decisions independently and keep your commitments.
• You have a positive and pragmatic attitude and great problem-solving skills.
• You command respect through not only excellent analytical skills, but also through your good communication skills.
