Sustainability Operations Specialist

Team & Role
The operations function forms the backbone of any company. At STX, the Operations team works closely with all other teams and desks to ensure that STX continues to perform and deliver at an exceptionally high level. As a critical partner in the business, Operations also guarantees compliance with all the relevant rules and regulations. Moreover, the Operations team works collaboratively to make sure that STX has the necessary structures and processes in place to grow and develop further in new products, industries, and markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory & Mass Balance:

Oversee inventory control and biofuels/feedstock mass balance for trades and storage locations.

Sustainability Documentation:

Manage movement records, verify and issue Sustainability Declarations (PoS) under ISCC-EU, and handle additional documents like DDC declarations.

Quantity Verification:

Ensure the accuracy of sustainable goods volumes, focusing on points of origin.

Traceability Control:

Maintain sustainability documentation traceability across the supply chain.

GHG Data Management:

Verify and forward GHG calculation data, including transport details.
KEY REQUIREMENTS 
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Environmental Sciences
1-3 years of experience in a similar role within a relevant industry
Experience and or knowledge in ISCC-EU and BIOLNG
Fluent in English
The role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
