Over de functie
The Global PR Manager will be responsible for driving public relations and brand activation efforts that align with MERRACHI’s strategic objectives. This role will elevate the brand through impactful events, activations and media relations, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all channels.

The team consists of a Social Media Manager, a Customer Experience Manager, Lead Producer, Creative Brand Manager, Community Manager and 2 PR/Influencer Marketeers; which you will lead in this role. More colleagues will be added soon, as MERRACHI is ever- evolving and expanding its business. You will report to the Head of Marketing.

Core responsibilities

• Architect a cohesive strategy across PR, communications, partnerships, and events aligned to brand goals and objectives
• Oversee Press, PR Events, Influencer relations and affiliate strategies for brand campaigns, seasonal moments etc.
• Manage relationship with agencies, key press contacts, talent agents, management teams, and influencers/creators
• Cultivate and develop relationships with like-minded celebrities, influencers, organizations, and other relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and third-parties to support and execute events and activations
• Manage and allocate PR budgets to deliver against channel goals
• Establish, track, and report on KPIs across channels and campaigns
• Analyse & interpret data results to provide recommendations to optimize future performance
• Lead your juniors in long term strategic initiatives and day to day business objectives, coach and mentor them if necessary

Functie eisen
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging stories and persuasive pitches. This role requires excellent organizational and project management abilities, with experience handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. You need a proactive mindset, and the ability to execute both strategic initiatives and tactical details. Travel will be a regular component of this position both domestically and also internationally. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building brand visibility and consumer engagement. Possess a willingness to test new initiatives, learn quickly and move forward.

Furthermore you bring:

• At least a Bachelors degree
• 7 - 10 years proven experience in PR, or communications, ideally with an agency background.
• Successful track record of building brand awareness, growing followers and engagement across multiple platforms
• Expert knowledge of existing and emerging social platforms and trends, including but not limited to; Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & Pinterest
• Living in the Amsterdam Area
• Available fulltime
