(Senior) Consultant IT Transformation

Your ambitions

To support the growth of our Technology team in Amsterdam we are looking for digital savvy people with 3-10 years of experience and a shown interest in IT Transformation projects.

Your responsibilities

As (Senior) consultant IT Transformation at BearingPoint you’ll be leading a small team in challenging advice and implementation assignments on IT Transformation domain for various appealing clients in the Telecommunications, Energy and FMCG sectors. You will help shape digital transformations by leading projects or workstreams to reach the digital ambition the client in both agile and more traditional environments. Examples of possible assignments include the support of agile teams in roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master or Agile coach and managing IT Transformation projects and programs and the corresponding organizational and cultural changes. You will do this as part of multi-disciplinary teams building bridges between business and IT. Internally, you will develop proposals for clients, help to build the Dutch IT Transformation team and coach more junior colleagues.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Information Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or equivalent;
• 3-10 years of experience with IT Transformations, preferably in a consulting or project-based environment;
• Demonstrate a strong background in more than one aspect of IT Transformation
• Ability to spot opportunities and act on them;
• Certified in one or more (agile) project management methodologies;
• Learning fast and eager to pick up new technologies;
• Strong analytical skills, supplemented with a conceptual mindset;
• Work experience or a shown interest in one of the mentioned sectors.
• Ability to empathize and well-developed listening skills;
• A customer-, and results oriented and proactive attitude;
• A representative appearance and proactive, independent attitude;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in Dutch and English).
