Your job
Royal IHC is seeking for students that are interested in performing a thesis or an internship at IHC Digital Business Systems. Our field of expertise covers a wide range of offshore and dredging related control topics, including:

• Motion & Heave compensation
• Dynamic Positioning systems
• Autonomous vessels
• Dredge automation
• Machine Learning

Together with us an assignment can be formed based on your interest and our experience, feel free to come up with your own ideas as well!
During your internship, you will be supported by experts and you will have the opportunity to interact with many engineers whom you can share and discuss your work and collaborate. Finally, you will also have the chance to communicate your work and connect with experts from different business units of Royal IHC Systems who are looking forward to your results.

We are looking for students who meet the following profile:

• enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree (HBO or WO), preferably in the field of Systems and Control, Electrical, Mechatronics or Informatic.
• analytical view
• proactive and self-starting with a hands-on work mentality
• good communication skills
• fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
