This position will be working out of Delft, South Holland, Netherlands.

About the job

The Human Resources Advisor provides support to the global HR team in multiple areas, with an initial focus on our Delft site as well as other European Organizations. The ideal candidate possesses strong multi-tasking and project management skills, with a passion for supporting people and being a vital resource to the team. We are seeking a person who is able to foster connections internally and externally.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Coaching and supporting managers in managing performance, talent and development processes including training and developments, managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Creating robust onboarding plans and ensuring that all new hires receive best in class onboarding experience.
• Coordinating all aspects of employee relations and health and welfare policies, including contributing to the development of HR policy and processes which enable the sites to comply with all legal requirements.
• Acting as first point of contact for employees as it relates to administrative support and Workday (HRIS)
• Serving as a Workday Expert (HRIS) and maintains employee information within HRIS databases, including personnel data, compensation and benefits.
• Maintaining personnel files and ensures accuracy and that all required documentation is collected and managed.
• Drafting employment documentation, which may include offer letters, change in circumstances letters and any other general communication to employees as required, incl separation notices and related documentation.
• Owning the monthly payroll cycle in the Netherlands including gathering all required information that needs to be processed and make sure it is accurate and correct.
• Checking and filling the salary/insurance-related papers and documents while making sure we are in compliance with SOX and other (tax) regulations.
• Actively participating in Global Human Resources projects.

Most Important Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor in Business, HR and/or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years HR and/or general business experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English, German an asset
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Workday (HRIS) experience a plus
• Extremely well organized and detail oriented
• High energy and ability to work in fast moving and changing environment
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong problem solving ability
• Ambitious and open to grow higher level positions in HR
