Project Manager EngineeringRotterdam Area
We are currently looking for a Project Manager Engineering with experience in the maritime or high-end yachting industry.
Function
In this position, you report directly to the Project Director and you play a key role in a dynamic project team that creates and builds high-end luxury yachts.Specific duties in this role include:
- Managing the technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards and company protocols
- Panning, reviewing and delivering accurate engineering documents in collaboration with Engineering Coordinators and external parties
- Serving as the primary contact for owners representatives, subcontractors and regulatory bodies
- Managing the project scope, quality and performance
- Conducting regular meetings in order to align multidisciplinary teams, solving problems that may arise and boost efficiency
- Identifying and addressing project risks while supporting production, commissioning and after-sales teams
- Leading, motivating and developing the engineering team by fostering growth and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Maritime Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maritime or yacht-building industry
- Strong skills of AutoCAD and Rhinoceros
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
