About the team:

The Industrial Services Department (60 FTEs) is responsible for providing various service products (Repairs, Overhauls, Service Parts & Assemblies, Modifications & Field Services). The department has 2 own Work cells for the different product types & specialties and uses the knowledge and capacity of fellow departments within the Supply Chain where necessary. In addition, the department has a Support Team in which all support functions are housed.

About your future job:

Your work week is varied and dynamic. You consult with various internal customers and stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, Work Cell Managers). As Industrial Manager, you will report directly to the Services Department Manager and have a strong focus on Safety and OTD and ensure that products are delivered according to customer quality requirements, within the aligned cost budget.

You will sit in the MT of the department, take the lead in setting up all supply chain activities for new service products and/or for re-designs and modifications of existing service products.

Your responsibilities:

As Industrial Manager Services you are the specialist for a group of products and you are able to bring industrial projects to the right level and propose operational solutions.

In the service life cycle phase, you play an important role to translate the service product strategy into setting up and implementing an operational supply chain for various types of Thales radar systems.

In the design phase for Services, you are responsible for designing and setting up the Supply Chain, ensuring that the designs take into account manufacturability and testability to meet customer requirements, quality and cost.

In the bid phase, you are responsible for identifying and mitigating manufacturing risks, providing input regarding product costing and preparing the schedule and delivery time information to the Product Manager & Bid Team.

In the execution phase, you are able to resolve complex issues that arise and manage a small functional team of experts (e.g. Manufacturing Engineer/Planner/Work Preparation/Test Engineer) to enable professional execution of operational activities. You will be responsible for achieving key production & test milestones.

Your main tasks are:

• Point of contact in the organization for all industrial activities related to service products.
• Functionally managing a multifunctional team.
• Timely identification and proactive resolution of issues.
• Continuous improvement of logistics processes and delivery results.
• Be a key contributor for developing a LEAN mind set within the department.
• Proactively communicate with various stakeholders on progress.

• You hold an HBO/WO degree, preferably in the field of Industrial/Supply Chain Management or Technical Business Administration.
• You have several years of experience in a management role.
• You have knowledge of LEAN methodologies.
• Preferably you have experience working in a High Tech industrial environment.
• Preferably you are APICS certified.
• You are pragmatic, results-oriented, and you dare to make decisions.
• You think customer-oriented and you can communicate effectively.

Tweede gesprek
In het tweede gesprek bij de opdrachtgever gaan jullie dieper in op de inhoud van de functie, jouw rol in het team en wederzijdse verwachtingen. Dit gesprek kan ook gebruikt worden om praktische zaken, zoals arbeidsvoorwaarden of een mogelijke startdatum, te bespreken. Soms maak je ook kennis met meer teamleden of leidinggevenden om een compleet beeld te krijgen.

Aanbod
Als alle gesprekken positief zijn verlopen, ontvang je een aanbod van de opdrachtgever. Hierin worden de arbeidsvoorwaarden, salaris en overige afspraken vastgelegd. Uiteraard staan wij klaar om je te adviseren en eventuele vragen te beantwoorden, zodat je met een goed gevoel de volgende stap kunt zetten in je loopbaan.
