What will you do?
As Chief Mechanic, you will be the driving force behind the successful assembly of various installations within our projects. You are responsible for assembling installations on time and within budget, while also coordinating the work. In this role, you will lead your team of mechanics and third parties, while also being active on the shop floor yourself.

You ensure that the installations are not only expertly assembled, but also that they function optimally. This means that you check the operation of the installations and, where necessary, perform assembly work yourself to ensure quality.

An important aspect of your job is to meet regularly with construction partners to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly. You accurately document all relevant project data and ensure that the schedules of various construction partners are well aligned. In consultation with the team, you establish and monitor an effective assembly schedule throughout the project.

Where will you work?
Safety is central to your work, and as Chief Mechanic you are an example to your team in this. You instruct, control and always work according to the applicable safety regulations and KAM procedures.

• MBO working and thinking level obtained through education and/or work experience;
• Relevant work experience gained in a similar position within installation technology;
• Demonstrable experience in managing multiple assembly teams.
