Job description:

As an account manager, you are commercially responsible for the turnover, growth and customer satisfaction in your region of the South of the Netherlands. Together with the sales office, you organize the entire commercial process. You ensure this by primarily being in contact with customers through trade fairs, e-mail, telephone and personal conversations. You ensure the growth of new customers and expansion of existing customers with new products and services for the long term. You work closely with our sales office and your colleagues in the field to achieve our joint goals.

Tasks and responsibilities:
You are responsible for the budget, turnover and margin growth in your own region of the South of the Netherlands
You live and work from home in your own area, you are only in the office for the monthly sales meeting and customer visits
Maintaining existing customer contacts with both wholesalers and end users and proactively suggesting new prospects
You have an advisory role towards customers/prospects regarding cable,
cable accessories and systems
You work closely with the internal service and provide commercial advice, taking into account the agreed targets (turnover/margin)
Reporting visits and ultimately responsible for the input and accurate processing of all prospect and customer data
You ensure that the relevant corporate directives, ISO standards and legal regulations are applied to all activities
You report to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

You have a charismatic and convincing personality with a great affinity for technology, a completed MBO4 education, preferably in a commercial direction, at least 3 years of demonstrable sales experience within the Benelux and of course you are commercially skilled.

You live in the South Netherlands region.
You have a good command of Dutch and English. German is a plus.
You conduct customer conversations at a strategic and tactical level.
You process large accounts and prospects and ensure that we can regularly participate in project requests and tender processes.
You are a contributing link between internal and external sales.

enterprising, communicative, self-motivated, performance-oriented and strong interpersonal skills.
