Quality Lead Auditor

The Quality Lead Assessor will conduct ad-hoc quality assessments at vendor locations within the company’s geographical area of operations to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and applicable quality standards. The objective is to ensure the delivery of zero-defect materials to the company’s facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The assessor will request and review documents submitted by vendors prior to assessments and communicate any comments to the Quality Management Division (QMD).
  • The assessor will understand the scope and commodities under assessment.
  • The assessor will plan, prepare, and distribute the assessment agenda as per QMD templates.
  • The assessor will perform assessments of vendors’ Quality Management Systems at their facilities to verify compliance with ISO 9001:2015, vendors’ management systems, and other applicable quality standards (e.g., API 5L).
  • The assessor will propose recommended approval statuses to QMD management (confidential within the company).
  • The assessor will assist the Quality Assessor during shop tours and assessments, which may be conducted in person or remotely (via video stream preferred).
  • The assessor will prepare and obtain signatures on Supplier Acknowledgement Forms from vendor representatives within one working day.
  • The assessor will issue Corrective Action Status Logs to vendors within two working days and follow up on findings until resolution, including reviewing Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Corrections, and Evidence.
  • The assessor will prepare Assessment Packages as per QMD templates within the specified time frame (confidential within the company).
  • The assessor will conduct Supplier Assessments via Desk Reviews when requested, including preparing packages (confidential within the company).
  • The assessor will process reports and follow up on Supplier Evaluation Workflows in SAP/MAP.
  • Regular interaction with Auditees and the QMD Quality Assurance Unit Assessor.
 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the quality field.
  • Auditor Training on ISO 9001 requirements from an IRCA-recognized institute.
  • Preferably, IRCA registration for Lead Auditor.
  • Proven experience in performing audits per ISO 9001:2015 / API Q1.
  • Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and testing activities.
  • Familiarity with key commodities such as Mechanical Equipment (e.g., Static, Valve, Pump, Compressor), Electrical Equipment (e.g., Motor, Generator), Skids, and Instrumentation.
  • Highly desirable: familiarity with specifications and international standards (e.g., API, NACE, ASME, ISO).
  • Significant travel throughout Europe is required, thus the ability to travel and proximity to a major European travel hub are highly desirable.
