As our
Wholesale Marketplace Merchandising Manager,
you will manage a team of Marketplace Merchandisers and be the bridge between Regional Sales and the EMEA Category. You will deliver the Regional annual budget targets by optimising the product assortment in line with category strategy and customers.

How you’ll help us.

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the
Head of Marketplace Merchandising

, and as part of the role, you’ll:

• Manage a professional Merchandising team, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, processes, and tools to perform effectively in their roles.
• Build good working relationships with key related functions: Marketing, Demand Planning, Sales, and Operations.
• Safeguard priority setting in the team to ensure issues are solved promptly and structurally, together with other stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor working methods and suggest opportunities for improved efficiency and process enhancement.
• Create and implement new projects, ensuring training and processes are clearly mapped out for the teams involved. Follow up to ensure consistency and success of individual projects.
• Act as an enterprise lead to improve the business above and beyond the regional scope.

More about you.

• 6-8 years of experience in Merchandising, or Supply Chain Management.
• Working proficiency or native German language skills.
• Willingness to travel to Germany regularly (once every 3 weeks or once a month).
• Clearly present and build Merchandising strategies (linked to financials) at all levels.
• Highly numerate – analyse data, see trends and spot challenges.
• Affinity with fashion/sports branch.
• Presentation skills.
