Sales Engineer (Service Projects)

As Sales Engineer Service Projects, you are the technical-commercial sparring partner of the Sales Managers on issues concerning modification and overhaul of automated production lines for industrial bakeries. You translate the customer’s needs and requirements into system designs that fit within the technical and commercial boundaries in an existing situation. You are part of a multidisciplinary service team and report to the Global Service Director.

Your challenge

When our customer wants to implement a change in its production line, you are called in to formulate a suitable solution. You do this through discussions with the customer and Sales Managers. Within projects, you identify the technical, conceptual and business risks and convert this into a concept and calculation. With feedback from the team and experts within the organisation, you turn your concept into a successful system modification and a winning offer.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, for example, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Industrial Engineering;
• You have work experience in a similar role or have the ambition to develop in a technical-commercial position;
• You have a feel for commerce and enjoy working with customers;
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills in at least Dutch, English and preferably German (this is a plus, not a requirement);
• You are a team player and have a feel for quality and service levels.
