As our UX Designer

you are a team player to help improve the User Experience for customer service tools on the webshop and for internal tools by creating mock-ups and wireframes, with intuitive user experience in focus, and conducting own research to improve current shops and internal tooling.

In this position you will be part of the Design team, working closely with our Webshop squad, UX requesters and Developers, while reporting to the Design team lead. You will be co-responsible for the User Experience and User Interface, to create the best on-site experience for our customers, and will do so by collaborating with other departments, create and deliver mock-ups to Developers, demo all new and updated features and map out user flows. You continuously improve best practice to collaborate with colleagues and optimizing the user experience on our shop. You are hands on and like to dive into new projects. You are excited to create mock-ups and wireframes to show your ideas and know how to best present new mockups to present new functioning and responsive features.

What you will do

• Take ownership of the user experience and user interface for My Account, Help pages, Chat, B2B and internal tools
• Design and deliver mock-ups and wireframes using proper tools or software to update old features or create new features
• Effectively present mockups and designs to stakeholder and Developers, and effectively collaborate with both parties to implement features
• Initiate and support research such as user experience testing, surveys, interviews, user testing, and turning the result into actionable changes
• Work closely together with the Webshop, CS and B2B squads and PO’s to be able to develop wireframes and mock-ups that suit the development of the company

Must haves

• Relevant HBO-education in Multimedia Design, Interaction Design or Interactive media and around 3 years of working experience;
• Demonstrated experience with Google Material Design, Vuetify and responsive design is a must;
• Knowledge and experience with UX tooling such as Adobe XD or other is a must, also Adobe CC package;
• Up to date knowledge of html, CSS and JavaScript is a big plus;
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced, cross-functional environment;
• Team spirit attitude with preference for face to face communication;
• Able to shift gears when the pressure is on, and a proven track record for problem solving;
• Can effectively communicate with people from different backgrounds, location and levels within the organization;
• Has a learning attitude and see failure as an opportunity to improve;
• Ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software, and is interested in new design-tech developments and on-site trends;
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Dutch language is a plus.
