Job description
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for executing Mevi’s commercial strategy. In this crucial leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, expand the client base, and strengthen long-term customer relationships. You will develop and implement sales strategies that align with Mevi’s growth objectives.You will lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, build strategic partnerships, and work closely with other departments to deliver advanced mechanical solutions to customers. While some technical knowledge is required, you will have ample support to ensure the best possible technical and commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with Mevi’s growth goals and market position
- Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships to achieve ambitious sales targets
- Team Development: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Account and Sales Managers while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
- Client Engagement: Take a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and communicate the unique value of Mevi’s precision engineering expertise
- Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive dynamics to position Mevi as a trusted partner
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Production, and R&D teams to ensure smooth project execution and optimal customer satisfaction
Background
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in sales leadership within a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment (preferably in Semicon/High-tech, Food/Agri, or Pharmaceutical industries)
- Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive consistent revenue growth
- Excellent consultative sales skills, with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and present effective solutions
- Demonstrated experience in team development and creating a high-performance sales culture
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
- Technical background or affinity with manufacturing processes, precision engineering, or industrial solutions is essential
- Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a strong plus)
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time
