Supply Chain Planner Nh Maryem El Kouaa

Do you have a Bachelor degree? Are you analytically strong and do you have a no nonsense and hands on mentality? Can you easily adapt to changes? Would you like to work at one of the largest retail companies in the Netherlands? Then you are the Supply Planner we are looking for!

For a client located 40 minutes away from Amsterdam, we are looking for multiple Supply Planners for 38 hours per week. This varies from junior to medior. As a Supply Planner you are responsible for the optimal planning of the stock, in line with the strategic budgets, stock planning service levels, targets and contractual agreements with the suppliers of a category.

Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Stock Planning
Develops unrestricted supply chain plans for a certain category and distils the capacity requirements
Is responsible for the development of a stock plan
Ensures optimal availability of stocks for all DCs and Hubs and reports the daily stock of KPIs and applies efficient stock parameters for products within their own product group.

Orders and monitors inventory orders based on Hub / DC / store demand, strategic stock parameters and commercial decisions, in the most cost-efficient way possible, by ensuring that the ordered quantities are optimal and by reducing inter-DC orders as much as possible

Draws up supply plans for own (Direct Import) containers and direct supply from suppliers. Taking into account forecasts, future marketing initiatives, expected Hub / DC and country-specific sales patterns and different assortments

Communicates and reports orders and forecasts per supplier based on input from the buyers and Demand Planner
Monitor and plan container and long-term delivery in a timely manner based on adjusted forecasts
Keep an overview of planned promotions and available stock, taking into account future promotional requirements
2. Operational Management

• Provides solutions for urgent supply problems by coordinating with all stakeholders
• Coordinates with the logistics and suppliers department in the event of a delivery or last-minute changes to ensure that all stakeholders are sufficiently informed and instructed
• Monitors the products with a best-before date and products with a limited stock and reports excessive stock
• Communicates with the buyer if there is logistical inefficiency from a supplier, as a result of which the stock is too high, the logistics costs increase or the supply chain costs are increased in a different way

3. Management of relationships
Works with suppliers and internal departments (usually with Buying and Logistics) to improve the ordering process. Suggests improvements and applies them, with the permission of a supervisor

Maintains and optimizes the collaboration between Action and the suppliers, by recording delivery times, Stock Replenishment KPIs and following the supplier perfomance output

Is the point of contact of the supplier to ensure that the delivery is optimal and to solve any delivery problems
