Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Is part of the software department and interacts directly with the requirements engineers and other function owners to develop the software architecture of the various projects. ▪ Designs the embedded software architecture of the display modules or display driving boards based on the delivered software requirements. ▪ Understands the functionality of the hardware. ▪ Designs software architecture in a structured way according the procedures. ▪ Acts as a sub-project owner, demonstrates ownership for the project as an eager, self-propelling and result driven team member. ▪ Can independently liaise with customers on technical and conceptual level. ▪ Contributes in the roadmap definition on technical level for the software department.

Your profile
▪ Bachelor/Master in Electronics/ Computer Science ▪ Minimum experience of 5 years with Embedded C ▪ Minimum experience of 2 years in software architectural design ▪ Familiar with Assembly or sequencer instruction sets ▪ Knowledge of Keil uVision IDE and uPro Debugger ▪ Experience with ARM-M cores ▪ Experience with Enterprise Architect ▪ Experience with Jenkins ▪ Experience with Autosar OS ▪ Experience in working according ASPICE process SWE.2 ▪ Experience with Electronic designs ▪ Experience with multi-core processors, experience with heterogeneous cores is a plus ▪ Experience with systems like Easy Redmine and Tortoise SVN/GIT is a plus ▪ Good knowledge of English is assumed ▪ Team player; good communication skills ▪ Willing to work in a project with fixed delivery dates ▪ Accurate, punctual way of working is required ▪ Willing to travel within Europe and occasionally to Asia

Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ For heavy duty diesel, hydrogen engines and hybrid applications, act as the technical expert who supports the system owners for i.e. Thermal Measures or engine + SCR integration: ▪ Definition and setting up system level requirements related to emissions and performance for these systems; ▪ Setting up FMEA and specifying the impact of the new content on the system related requirements for various systems; ▪ Taking the lead in root cause analysis and resolution process of (field) issues and deliver improvement proposal; ▪ Creating and executing the risk mitigation plan, following up alternative data to build off risk and test case status. ▪ Coordinate and monitor timing and quality of all deliverables related to the system under development.

Your profile
▪ Master degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering; ▪ 5+ years of experience in domain knowledge of engine out emissions, SCR systems and necessary integration between these two; ▪ Experience with system level engineering in a complex product design environment; ▪ Excellent technical know-how, structured problem solving and ability to get to the core of issues efficiently and pragmatically; ▪ Experience in leading a team of technical experts and system level engineering (presenting, planning, technology roadmap, tech lead, stakeholder management, …); ▪ Six Sigma Experience is a pre i.e. setting up an FMEA, DMAIC, fishbone, boundary and P-diagram, fault tree analysis; ▪ DNG and Plato tool knowledge is a pre; ▪ Good English skills are mandatory; ▪ Initiative, continuous improvement of engine emission and performance; ▪ Cooperation, bringing engineers from different disciplines together; ▪ Result orientation, good planning and deliver on time; ▪ Analytical capacity, combine information from different sources; ▪ Clear communication, verbally, in writing, and presenting on PM level; ▪ Perseverance, find solutions to complex persisting problems.

Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Secure all the knowledge and having the technical lead within a functional sub-domain and maintaining overview of all developments in that specific area; ▪ Create architecture within this functional area, in agreement with the function lead engineer. You will support the product owner in planning, prioritizing, analysing and evaluating software implementation; ▪ Discuss functional requirements in your functional area with the author of the functional requirement/design documents; ▪ Support embedded software engineers in designing and testing software implementation; ▪ As a central point of contact you’ll be responsible for planning and reporting status of issues in your domain, in agreement with the functional lead engineer. ▪ As Senior Engineer Powertrain you are part of an agile software development team, that will also develop application software functions according input requirements. ▪ In your role you are responsible to add the functional knowledge to the team. ▪ In this position you report to the Supervisor of the Application Software group.

Your profile
▪ Education on Bachelor or Master level with a specialisation in control theory, mechanical- or automotive engineering; ▪ At least 3 years of relevant experience in the engine functional domain (e.g. air/fuel management, torque/speed control); together with inter controller communication knowledge (e.g CAN and LIN protocol) and related diagnostics; ▪ Knowledge of embedded software design processes and experience with real time embedded systems; ▪ Analytical skills and the ability to abstract from the current situation and to explain complex technical information clearly; ▪ Strong interpersonal skills, especially listening and synthesizing, and the ability to collaborate across different groups having varying levels of expertise and skill; ▪ Fluent in the English language - effective communication in both verbal and written form. Willing to learn the Dutch language. ▪ Knowledge of model-based design techniques, preferably in Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow; ▪ Experience with agile/scrum; ▪ Experience with process supporting tools for defect management, calibration and programming; ▪ Knowledge of diagnostics, OBD and Functional Safety; ▪ Knowledge of automotive safety and standards like ISO 26262, AutoSAR and SPICE.
