Mechanical Engineer

The position

As Mechanical Engineer you play a role in designing, developing and improving mechanical systems for industrial bakery machines. You will work with a team of mechanical engineers to engineer machines within a specific product group. Your duties will include:

• Designing and modeling mechanical components and systems.
• Collaborating with other disciplines within the engineering team.
• Performing engineering calculations and analysis.
• Identifying optimization opportunities in existing designs.

You are able to transform ideas into industrial solutions. Because you immerse yourself in the latest technological solutions and are curious and critical, you know how to deliver high-quality machines. You like to delve into the matter in order to eventually contribute to new projects. You know how to set priorities and have a high degree of self-reliance.

What do we expect from you?

• A completed college education in mechanical engineering or a related field;
• Preferably relevant work experience in mechanical engineering;
• Experience with a 3D drawing package (for example, PTC Direct Modeling or Inventor). Should you not yet have experience with these packages, we offer you an internal training program to become proficient in this drawing package;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
