That’s easy, by doing what you do best – developing amazing software together with a diverse team of engineers, each with their own area of expertise. From mechanical and electronic engineers to optical and technical engineers. And, of course, other software engineers.

Together you work on high-tech solutions (both digital and physical), to usher in the next-generation of solar energy. While your colleagues are designing and building complex machines, you and your fellow software engineers are designing and building complex software to make it all work. Fortunately, the machines are built right next-door to the office in The Hague, so you can always see exactly what you’re working on and the impact it makes.

Interesting, what kind of tech are they using?

It’s quite a varied tech stack, including Java, Python and some Angular on the front-end. Considering the things some of your colleagues are working on, it also helps to have some basic knowledge of stuff like SCADA design and PLC programming. But make no mistake – You won’t be asked to work on hardware programming or anything of the sort. It’s just nice to understand what your fellow engineers are passionate about, don’t you think?
