Trade Accountant

For a multinational in agriculture in the centre of Rotterdam I'm looking for a Trade Accountant. Do you have experience in an international environment? Do you have ambition to grow? Do you have at least 5 years of accounting experience? This might be your new job!

For this agriculture business I'm currently looking for a trade accountant that will be working in an international team with career grow opportunities.

Tasks & responsibilities

Analyse financial statements to support expense control, accurate reporting and effective performance management
Perform accounting closing duties with a special focus gross margin related items
Analyse and monitor all the transactions ensuring accuracy of Gross Profit related accounts
Maintaining accurate accounts of each debtor and vendor of the company
Cost allocation review & budget explanation
Coordinate reconciliation of sub ledger accounts and general ledger
Improve accounting procedures, always complying to internal and external rules, aiming at reducing the cost for the company.
Review bank and balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis
Collaborate across business functions to ensure accuracy and completeness of all cash postings
Allocate reimbursement, cancelations to ensure accounts are updated
Provide accounting support for procurement activities

Skills & education

• Bachelor or master educated in the accounting field
• At least 5 years experience in an international accounting environment
• Fluent in English

Offer

• Direct contract as a Trade Accountant at client's payroll
• Gross yearly salary between €50.000 - €60.000
