About the job

As a Project Lead Engineer, you are responsible for all integration and validation activities in our engine and aftertreatment development projects. You will apply your domain knowledge and team skills to take a leading role in product development. Your responsibilities include:

• Owning key performance indicators such as fuel economy, emissions, durability, reliability, and diagnostic robustness.
• Prioritizing and planning test activities for all groups within the Engine Integration & Validation department, in close cooperation with supervisors and line leads.
• Analyzing, summarizing, reviewing, and reporting test and analysis results to (project) management.
• Initiating monitoring for performance status, development, and project progress.

About you

• Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic knowledge of engines, aftertreatment systems, and on-board diagnostics.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch skills are a plus.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Initiative, cooperation, and analytical capacity.
• Stress tolerance and ease in a rapidly changing environment.
