your typical day includes

As communications specialist Digital Factory within Randstad Global you are - together with the global communications manager of the Digital Factory - responsible for the Digital Factory’s team communication and for implementing and managing the internal and external communications strategy for Randstad’s global digital and IT transformation. The objective is to have a significant impact on the accelerated global digital transformation of the company through effective communication. You will positively impact the cooperation between the Digital Factory and the Randstad operating companies (Opcos) in 38 countries. You will report to the global communications manager of the Digital Factory.

As part of the Tech & Touch (T&T) strategy, Randstad is speeding up its digital capabilities. The Digital Factory combines the best of two worlds: the scale, quality, social and long-term perspective of a corporate with the speed, agility, customer focus and challenging orientation of a start-up. The Digital Factory helps our clients, our candidates and Randstad to apply digital to stay relevant. Our team is global and based around the world, multifunctional and reflects the diversity of our global clients and the company. We deliver global digital solutions such as workforce scheduling and data-driven sales as well as build digital foundations such as global infrastructure, architecture and data (security).

Your main responsibilities will be:

• (co-)creating the Digital Factory’s internal team communication
• implementing and managing the communication with Randstad Global and the Opcos around the Digital Factory’s activities and Randstad’s global digital and IT transformation
• (co-)creating external communication on Randstad’s global digital transformation

your background

• around 5 years experience in corporate, employee and/or change communications
• experience in working in an international, multicultural environment
• passionate about driving digital transformation & change through effective communication
• fluent in English
• based in the Netherlands
• experience in and passionate about writing for various audiences
• ability to implement communications strategies & create content for diverse channels and audiences & measure effectiveness
• experience in working in an agile IT and digital environment and ability to understand technical and complex operations and translate this into effective communications for various audiences
