Senior Cost Estimator
, to join our cost estimation team and bring an excellent level of expertise to our projects.
In this role, you will be
the go-to person for developing and managing cost estimates
and ensuring we deliver on time and within budget.

What you will do

Formulate and secure
approval for the Estimate Execution Plan
Generate detailed
cost estimates
within agreed timeframes

Work closely with Procurement and Contracts

to validate and adjust pricing
Conduct thorough reviews and
prepare Project Benchmark sheets
Oversee task forces for major or intricate projects

Review and challenge cost estimates

, and use that information for

strategic discussions

Perform
risk assessments
and recommend suitable
contingency measures
Present and justify estimate results to senior management, clients, and stakeholders
Perform regular
peer review
on all cost estimates

What you already have

A
Bachelor’s degree
in a technical or commercial field

+5 years of relevant experience

in cost estimation in the

oil and gas

industry or

EPC industry

Strong skills in
data mining/management
(Excel, Access, and Power BI)
In-depth knowledge of
Cleopatra
or other dedicated cost-estimating software
Fluency in
English
, both written and spoken, so you can efficiently communicate with your international team

You currently reside in the Netherlands

or have experience working in Dutch companies
