Supportability Engineer
As a Supportability Engineer, you will collaborate with product development and project teams to design cost-effective maintenance solutions that ensure maximum operational availability of systems. You will conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), define repair and maintenance requirements, and support project managers in delivering tailored support solutions to customers.
Functie-eisen
Key Responsibilities:- Develop cost-efficient maintenance strategies and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA).
- Identify maintenance requirements, key components, and necessary resources.
- Support project bids and deliveries by collaborating with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Write proposal texts and perform cost calculations using statistical tools.
- Analyze system components for preventive and corrective maintenance, leveraging specifications, drawings, and expert input.
- Determine optimal service intervals and maintenance strategies using PLM tools like Windchill or Teamcenter.
Competenties
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or prior experience in ILS engineering.
- Strong knowledge of system engineering, maintenance strategies, and service logistics (corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance).
- Experience with PLM tools (Windchill, Teamcenter) and working with BOMs/PBS.
- Fluent in Dutch, German, and English with excellent communication skills.
