About the job

For SN R&I we are looking for a Senior Product Excellence manager.
In this role, you will be instrumental in collaborating cross-functionally to identify, provide, and deploy relevant technical capabilities for category technology and digitalization. You will work closely with and steer advanced technology and science teams to drive successful project execution.

This position is a critical position for the SN growth.

In this position you will be reporting into the SN R&I Senior Team Leader ELN Product Centre of Excellence and you will have the following accountabilities and responsibilities:

Identify steer and deploy category capabilities for category technology and digitalisation to drive efficiency within CORE portfolio for all zones and development teams for global brands.​

Impact on Business Results: ​

• Optimisation of core portfolio from addressing recurring technical design challenges, defining optimum chassis approach, initiating simplification projects​
• Future fit organisation from driving the competency strategy of the category team​
• coaching/mentoring/training of Junior PPDM across pilars in the Category and for KFC​

Process & Projects​

• Owns products portfolio and competition landscape analysis to redefine (new) products designs opportunities, including simplification, optimisation and faster roll out/expansion​
• Lead discussions on system and WoW efficiencies and robustness related to product design.​
• Streamline improved functionality requirements of recipe design tools (developed by Data & System team)​
• improve / develop / deploy our Products Development and Design SOP, training and good practices to the category for all development centers (across the zones)​
• Being Ingredient Specialists and/or Engine expert and / or Product:Process interaction expert​
• Responsible for training content & acting as trainer

About you

You are an experienced product developer with an innovative mindset, an eye for detail and thrive in seeding the future. You can easily connect with cross-functional departments displaying effective stakeholder engagement. You have excellent communication skills and can effectively build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• A MSc./PhD degree in Chemical engineering, Bio-Chemical engineering, Food technology, bioprocessing, or similar working/thinking level obtained via experience.​
• Min. 5-year experience in Product Development or R&D environment especially in SN applications​
• Thinks beyond own team and able to identify connections across functions / teams to deliver more​
• Communicates with clarity, conviction and credibility​
• Manages broad network internally and externally to support delivery​
• Strong on own convictions to challenge others and can address challenges/issues with stakeholders​
