Global Client Lead
This role is part of our Creative and Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix, Canva, Foot Locker, Philips & Biscoff. JOB PURPOSEThe Global Account Lead is responsible for managing and nurturing the relationship with one of DEPT® key global clients. The role involves understanding the client's business objectives, delivering strategic marketing solutions, and overseeing the execution of campaigns across multiple regions.You will be seen as the client lead, ensuring seamless collaboration, effective communication, and the delivery of measurable results. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary point of contact for key global clients, fostering long-term partnerships.Full understanding of DEPT® offering - knowing how our capabilities solve client problems in other domains and has the ability to coach (mentorship) Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders.Provide ongoing strategic counsel to clients, identifying new opportunities and areas for growth.Lead annual planning and strategy sessions with clients, ensuring alignment with their business and marketing objectives.Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell of agency services to drive account growth.Manage the account P&L, ensuring revenue targets and profitability goals are met.Monitor project budgets, scope, and timelines, ensuring all work is delivered within agreed-upon parameters.Negotiate contracts, retainers, and fees with clients to ensure profitable engagements. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 8+ years of experience in account management or client services within a marketing or advertising agency, with a focus on global or multi-regional accountsProven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns across diverse marketsThe architect - bringing every pieces together Has industry expertise - understands competitive context (vendor, audience, cross market pollinationStrong understanding of global marketing, branding, and digital strategiesYou have a passion for digital marketing, know how to convince others with your sales talent, and have the ability to give clients the best possible adviceExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to translate client goals into actionable marketing plans.Strong leadership and team management abilitiesFinancial acumen with experience managing account budgets and profitability.Familiarity with a variety of marketing disciplines, including digital, social media, creative, and media planning WE OFFER A reputation for doing good.
