Why you want to work as a Business Controller

You have extensive experience in transforming challenging financial issues into efficient processes, procedures, reporting and strategies. You find it challenging to improve, standardize and increase the reliability of financial information. In addition, you like executing those issues at varying leading companies and organizations in clearly defined assignment of 3 months to a year that you can fully commit to.

This is what you will do

As a business controller, you are the financial and business conscience of an organization. You are responsible for reliable financial management and accountability information. Your focus is on the best financial solutions in the short and long term, without losing sight of the interests of the organization. You give solicited and unsolicited advice and help the financial department to the next phase. Also, you are an accessible interlocutor, you dare to ask critical questions and do not avoid discussion.

Your challenges as a business controller

• Prepare, monitor and oversee budgets, forecast and business plans.
• Using or setting up clear and insightful dashboards.
• Analyzing and reviewing financial and non-financial data.
• Translating this data into organizational objectives.
• Increasing business acumen.
• Take management and/or board along with the numbers and provide corresponding advice.

What we ask

• You have a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management Studies, Econometrics or similar.
• You have at least two years of experience as a finance professional and/or business controller.
• You are able to translate numbers into business plans and objectives.
• You are results-oriented, can prioritize well, make decisions independently and keep your commitments.
• You have a positive and pragmatic attitude.
• You have both good analytical skills and good communication skills.
