About the job

As a Function Owner - Engine Diagnostics/Torque & Speed, you will be responsible for developing diagnostic functions and torque & speed requirements for heavy-duty diesel and hydrogen engines. Collaborating with a team of technical experts, you will establish customer, service, and legal requirements. Additionally, you will conduct risk analyses (FMEA), create risk mitigation plans, and follow up on necessary actions for software development, testing, calibration, and validation. You will lead the root cause analysis and resolution process for field issues and contribute to the technology roadmap for future projects and advanced technologies.

About you

• Master's degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in the domain knowledge of engine Torque & Speed and Diagnostics, including OBD.
• Experience leading a team of technical experts.
• Mandatory Six Sigma experience (FMEA, DMAIC, fishbone, boundary, and P-diagrams).
• Knowledge of DNG and Plato tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Competencies: initiative, cooperation, result orientation, analytical capacity, clear communication, perseverance.
