As a software developer, you will work on the development of a GNSS receiver within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on embedded software.

Embedded Software Developer
Main responsibilities
- You will
determine the specifications
of the product to be developed and its interfaces.- You will
develop an (embedded) software product,
including various solution alternatives.- You will
install and/or integrate
the product.- You will work on the
documentation
of the product.- You will
create the manuals
for the product.- You will give
product demonstrations
and courses for users and maintainers.- You will
support incident resolution
and problem investigation.- You will adapt the product on the basis of the approved amendment proposals.
- You will coordinate with other
stakeholders
(such as architects, suppliers and users) to develop the whole product.- You will maintain and manage
toolsets
.- You will
conduct experiments
and product evaluation and selection.Requirements
For you to excel this role, youmust
:
- Have a HBO diploma or higher revelant education.
- Have at least
6 years of demonstrable experience
in designing software applications inC++/Qt
.- At least 3 years of experience in the integration of hardware with embedded software.
- At least two years of experience in setting up
CI/CD systems
.- At least two years of experience with tooling such as
Gitea
.- You have a good command of both
English
andDutch
.It is an
advantage
if you have:
- Experience in
managing
a software developmentteam
.- Strong
communication skills
.- Are
assertive, empathetic
, and are able to give feedback.- Experience working on
Maritime military systems
