As a software developer, you will work on the development of a GNSS receiver within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on embedded software.

Embedded Software Developer 

Main responsibilities 

  • You will

determine the specifications

of the product to be developed and its interfaces.
  • You will

develop an (embedded) software product,

including various solution alternatives.
  • You will

install and/or integrate

the product.
  • You will work on the

documentation

of the product.
  • You will

create the manuals

for the product.
  • You will give 

product demonstrations

and courses for users and maintainers.
  • You will

support incident resolution

and problem investigation.
  • You will adapt the product on the basis of the approved amendment proposals.
  • You will coordinate with other

stakeholders

(such as architects, suppliers and users) to develop the whole product.
  • You will maintain and manage

toolsets

.
  • You will

conduct experiments

and product evaluation and selection.
 

Requirements

For you to excel this role, you
must

:
  • Have a HBO diploma or higher revelant education.
  • Have at least

6 years of demonstrable experience

in designing software applications in

C++/Qt

.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the integration of hardware with embedded software.
  • At least two years of experience in setting up

CI/CD systems

.
  • At least two years of experience with tooling such as

Gitea

.
  • You have a good command of both

English

and

Dutch

.
It is an
advantage

if you have:
  • Experience in

managing

a software development

team

.
  • Strong

communication skills

.
  • Are

assertive, empathetic

, and are able to give feedback.
  • Experience working on

Maritime military systems
