play a critical role
in independently and collaboratively managing complex issues and advisory processes for clients at the C-level

Key
responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice on data protection laws, including GDPR, and other related regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategies for compliance with data protection and privacy regulations for diverse clients.
Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory developments, providing proactive advice to clients.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops for clients on data protection and AI governance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive legal support.
Offer guidance on risk management in relation to data protection and regulatory compliance.

Required
skills
Master of Laws degree.
5 years+ relevant work experience gained in the legal profession, consultancy, in-house, or government.
Demonstrated knowledge of privacy law, IT (contract) law, and/or information security
Excellent command of the English language in speech and writing.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical solutions.
Certificates such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPP/US are a must.
French and/or Dutch speaking in addition to English.
