Our team currently consists of 18 FTE spread among offices in Heijningen , Rotterdam, Luxembourg, Paris and Denmark (together 95 FTE). https://projects.arcelormittal.com Functieomschrijving International Account Manager Vacancy – Heijningen (nearby Rotterdam and Bergen op Zoom) – Fulltime– ArcelorMittal What’s your challenge? As a fluent Polish speaker, you will have the opportunity to expand our business in Poland and the Baltics. You will leverage our existing market knowledge and network while primarily researching and identifying potential clients. We know there are significant opportunities with steel fabricators and EPC companies, and we anticipate an increase in projects requiring steel in this market. In the first few years, at least 90% of your focus will be on new business development. Travel will be an essential part of your role. Tasks & Responsibilities - Daily management of commercial sales operations within your assigned market and key clients. - Plan and coordinate all necessary resources to ensure all tenders and quotations are logged on-time and professionally presented, and that tender prices, technical and commercial risks are correctly identified, estimated and priced into complete and quality tenders/offers. - Manage (complex) offers and tenders and negotiate and effectively conclude sales and purchasing contracts. - Preparing and submitting project- and customer pre-qualifications. - Build and maintain long term (key) customer relations and realize high customer satisfaction. - Develop and proposes innovative, customized and client-oriented solutions and value services. - Establish relations with prospective clients, and to expand customer base and market reach by frequent customer visit. - Build and maintain supplier relations and effectively conclude negotiations and supplier contracts. - Ensure sales and procurement contracts are adequately documented and contractual terms and obligations understood and administered. - To ensure, through liaison with technical experts within ArcelorMittal, technical requirements and specifications are available and up to date for input to sales contract documentation and for customer support. - Actively support and participate in the team to build a constructive work climate in order to grow and sustain the organisation’s successes and continuity. Working in close cooperation with other (sales) account managers, international sales teams and offices. - Be informed and updated on international market, project and price developments. - Acquire market intelligence across the company and within shareholder groups. Must-have qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Engineering - Native-level Polish fluency and strong English proficiency - Previous experience in steel supply or the construction-related industry - Minimum of three years of sales experience Nice-to-have - Experience in project-related work and approaches Personality & skills - Above all, you must be proactive, alongside possessing the standard skills required for an Account Manager.
