Senior Financial Consultant

We are looking for an experienced consultant who is able to add value to 4PS directly. During the initial period, you will be given an intensive introduction to the organisation, the products and the sector. The intention is that you will mainly be ‘trained on the job’.

Who are you?

You will have access to various training courses to broaden your knowledge. In addition, we will be happy to invest in you and the skills you need to act as a finance professional. You’ll combine knowledge of the functionality of our ERP solution with an insight into our customers’ financial processes. You will use your detailed knowledge and communication skills to convey what is required for any customer to internal 4PS staff as well as to the customer’s staff.

Together with our team of consultants, you’ll ensure that our application is set up to meet the demands and requirements of the customer. You will use your communication skills to advise at all levels in 4PS and in the customer’s organisation. As a consultant, you will be there where you are needed. That could be on the customer’s premises, in our office at the Birmingham Business Park or remote from home.

About the role
As our Financial Consultant, you will be working with accountants and project managers to help streamline processes. You will cover a range of disciplines offering constructive advice on the set up and use of 4PS. Your main focus will be on financial business processes. Your tasks will include creating and implementing the financial modules within 4PS Construct inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV, setting up related NAV products and supporting end users.

Your skills

• You have an appropriate education and at least 10 years’ work experience in a similar role.
• You have the relevant financial knowledge, acquired through study and work experience.
• You have an affinity with ICT and ERP solutions and the construction sector.
• Your background could be in software consultancy, finance with an end user or being a controller or manager within the construction industry.
