You help innovative companies protect their inventions with a patent or design registration. Initially, you will work as a trainee while being trained to become a fully qualified patent attorney. From day one, you will gain practical experience under the guidance of a mentor. You will visit clients, discuss inventions, and act as a sparring partner for R&D teams, executives, and inventors.

This vacancy is for Team Archimedes, where you will frequently work with startups and SMEs. For them, a patent or design registration is particularly crucial as it provides access to investors and helps protect against competition. You will contribute to this. Take a look at how we did this for

You will be closely involved in the development of innovations and help protect them. At Team Archimedes, this involves not only technical innovations but also design rights, which protect the design of a product. If you have an interest in design, this team will be especially interesting for you.

Your responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on the protection options for their innovations.
• Providing information about intellectual property to (potential) clients during on-call services. Do you enjoy sharing knowledge? Over time, you can also give workshops.
• Writing and filing patent applications in the Netherlands and abroad.
• Building and maintaining client relationships over time.

• A completed university degree in fields such as industrial design, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, applied physics, or a similar discipline.
• Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• The ability to build trust and maintain relationships with clients.
