Rigger (offshore)

Many rigger jobs are based on short-term contracts, but we also recruit for long-term. Regardless of your employment period, these challenging roles generally come with very attractive salaries. Projects vary from construction and repair to pre-fab installations. Besides the necessary experience and certifications, successful riggers must excel at working within a team.

Function requierements:

• Valid Passport and STCW95
• Valid BOSIET and valid Offshore / Seafarers medical examination
• GWO ‘Working on Heights’
• Preferred training ‘Confined Space’
• Preferred certificates ‘Banksman Slinger’ / ‘Rigging and Slinging’
• Good knowledge in English

Job description:

• Discuss with Master, Chief Officer and Rigger foreman about the common activities on deck;
• Assist with craning- and lifting operations;
• Maintain an optimal maintenance on deck;
• Maintain an efficient spare part stock for the common deck activities and maintenance;
• Handle ropes and cables to make slings and tackle;
• Inspect, maintain and repair equipment;
• Maintain the safety and environmental regulations on board;
• Deck and accomodation cleaning and painting;
• Comply with national and international maritime law and regulations;
• Assist the Rigger foreman and Officers.

Location:

Most of the time in Europe.
