What are you going to do:

Are you an experienced chef with a strong background in Japanese cuisine, and have you worked in an international team? In this full-time role (38 hours per week), you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to an exceptional Michelin-starred dining experience. Your expertise in Japanese cooking will guide you as you create innovative menus, ensuring top-tier quality in every dish while maintaining strict standards of hygiene and safety.

As an independent chef, you will design creative, contemporary menus inspired by authentic Japanese flavors. Working with premium ingredients, you’ll craft unique dishes that complement the restaurant’s sophisticated atmosphere. The high standards of a Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant will drive you to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest. You’ll be part of an international team where professionalism and ambition are key.

What We Offer

You will earn a gross monthly salary ranging from €2869 to €3639, plus a performance-based bonus equivalent to one week’s salary. Benefits also include 8% holiday pay, 25 vacation days annually, and compensation for national holidays. You’ll be offered a one-year contract with the possibility of extension, in line with the Hospitality CLA.

Who You Are

You hold an MBO level 4 diploma (or equivalent) and have proven experience in a professional kitchen, particularly in Japanese cuisine. You’re passionate about your craft and dedicated to delivering exceptional quality in every dish.

What we offer:

• A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension;
• A gross monthly salary between € 2869 and € 3639;
• A bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary upon achieving the GOP (Gross Operating Profit) budget and a minimum score of 'successful' in your annual evaluation;
• 8% holiday allowance (pro rata) and 25 vacation days per year (pro rata);
• Compensation for national holidays;
• Employment under the Hospitality CLA.

What we ask:

• Minimum mbo level 4 or equivalent ability
• Proven experience as a chef in a professional kitchen, with knowledge of menu planning and food hygiene;
• Strong leadership skills and experience in team management;
• Creativity in developing new dishes and a deep passion for cooking, with a specific interest in Japanese cuisine;
• Ability to work independently and experience leading an international team.
