You touch the asset lifecycle every step of the way.     As a n Industry X Specialist - Systems Operations , you will leverage your expertise in the field of Engineering and Construction to transform leading utility organizations and help them navigate the energy transition. You will utilize Industry X capabilities to drive the digital transformation of grid operations, bridging the gap between corporate IT and production OT. Your work will directly contribute to shaping a more resilient and sustainable energy landscape.     People : As part of a diverse and dynamic team of consultants, engineers, and industry experts , you’ll work on innovative solutions addressing critical challenges in the energy sector . Collaborating closely with clients, you’ll analyze challenges, design strategies to improve operational efficiency and implement impactful tools and solutions. Together, we ensure systems are ready to meet current and future demands in the energy sector.   Processes : In your role of Systems Operations , your day-to-day responsibilities revolve around driving innovation and supporting clients in addressing capital challenges within the energy and infrastructure domains. This dynamic role ensures that no two days are the same. You’ll have opportunities to grow your expertise , work across multidisciplinary teams, and make a tangible impact . Y our daily tasks can include , for instance, a ssessing and optimizing grid performance , conduct ing feasibility studies, collaborating on strategic roadmaps or d esigning and implementing solutions .   Technology : At Industry X, we apply a wide range of latest and most intelligent technologies in the domain of Engineering and Digitization to enable digital transformation at our clients. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including digital twins, IoT platforms, machine learning, and advanced grid modelling tools , among others.   Data : Data plays a central role in this role, enabling you to analyze grid performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. You'll leverage data analytics to support decision-making, track the success of implemented solutions, and provide predictive insights for proactive grid management. The time for change is now!     Industry X is one of five services that make up one Accenture – the others are Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Song and Operations.   Qualifications HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED   A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.   Strong consulting experience and/or relevant industry experience in Energy or Utilities Industry.   In-depth knowledge of power systems and grid operations .   Affinity with technology and digitalization .   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ; a bility to quickly grasp complex concepts and convey them succinctly .   Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders .   Project management capabilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.   Strong customer focus, organizational skills and enjoyment of taking on responsibility.   A collaborative mindset, thriving in multidisciplinary environments.   High degree of autonomy and project management capabilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.   Fluency in English and Dutch , both written and spoken .   Submission of a cover letter outlining your motivation for this specific position BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE   Proficiency in IT solutions ( on-premise and cloud), with expertise in OT systems, SCADA, IoT technologies, IT/OT convergence, and digital twins.   Knowledge of energy storage systems and/or renewable energy projects and their integration into power grids.   Understanding of power system protection and control strategies.   Experience with grid modelling, energy management , congestion management or power system / load flow analysis software ( Powerfactory , PSS/E, Pandapower or similar), or other data analysis and/or optimization software ( R,Python or similar).   Background in asset management principles, including lifecycle optimization and risk-based maintenance.   Experience with energy distribution or transmission operators.   Certification in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile.   Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for energy markets, including grid codes and compliance requirements.   Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and policies in the energy sector.   Experience with stakeholder management and client-facing roles.   Familiarity with data science, machine learning, or AI applications in grid operations.   For more senior position: Proven track record of client engagement, including developing technical proposals and managing stakeholder expectations.
