Senior IT Auditor RE Competitive

The Group Audit department characterizes itself through an open and informal atmosphere with a focus on in-house knowledge. Both within the department and to its internal customers relation management plays an important role. Within Group Audit, the goal is to continuously maintain a high level of service quality and where possible to further optimize this service quality.

Because of the departure of one of the auditors, a function of Senior ICT Auditor is available. The candidate is expected to become fully competent in doing ICT audits independently within 6 months and he/she wants to develop further in the financial and/or operational audit areas.

Tasks:

The Senior ICT Auditor will be internally trained to perform ICT audits in group companies and the ICT group service organisation. Next to this role the team member will contribute actively to the preparation, implementation and finalising of so called “integrated audits” or “tailor-made” audits at the subsidiaries. You will always be part of a team, where the team is headed by an experienced audit manager.

Group Audit strives for ongoing optimising of the service offered.
The candidate along with other auditor colleagues will provide an innovative, qualitative manner and contribute to improving working methods. In that framework the candidate will be involved in several projects, in order to raise the audit quality and the impact of the group.

Given the international character of this position all auditors will spend up to 45% of their time abroad. The candidate has to be able to build contacts within the organisation at all kinds of levels such as group directors, local management team members, external auditors and other members of the audit team.

Summarising, this position is with a relatively large degree of independence within the team and at a professionally high level of operating in a multinational environment. Organisation capacity, a critically building attitude, social and communicative skills are needed besides technical audit knowledge.

Training and experience profile of the “ideal candidate”:

Business management training on university level (or something like a business school), furthermore the suitable candidate has a (almost) completed ICT audit qualification (RE) and a minimum four years relevant (audit) work experience.
