Dog handler
This is what your job looks like as a Dog Handler:
- You will be (or are) a dog handler at heart
- Train daily and get a good click with the dog: together you will make a strong team!
- Using a sniffer dog, you will be responsible for securing air cargo
- You will independently visit different customers. This can be both in the Netherlands and in Sweden.
- After you have examined the cargo, you secure it by issuing a security declaration
- You are well acquainted with the laws and regulations and strictly comply with them
- You act appropriately, with the safety of everyone in mind, in suspicious situations
- You are also responsible for the care of your dogs outside working hours
- A few times a year, you and the dog(s), go to Sweden to serve our customers there
The ideal colleague:
- Have a passion for dogs as well as safety
- Has experience with dogs in this field (is a plus)
- Be flexible, loyal and customer-oriented
- No problem for you to work irregular hours
- Enjoys working abroad a few times a year
- Features sufficient outdoor space to accommodate two dogs
- Live in the Schiphol area
- In possession of a driver's license

- A unique job with a lot of responsibility
- Attractive salary of €16.94 to €19.85 gross per hour excluding allowances and ORT (Irregularity Allowance). Salary is based on experience.
