To launch our new product
Sunne
we are looking for a digital marketeer powerhouse, a partner in our mission towards Solar Democracy.
Sunne is a self-powered solar lamp that captures, stores and produces light indoors. By day, it harvests energy from the sun while it hangs by your window; by night, it brings sunlight into your home. Sunne will be launched via a crowdfunding campaign in March. Our future team member is responsible and enthusiastic in creating a marketing plan via the Kickstarter platform as well as executing a social media campaign and press/influencer strategy. You will learn how to bring a design product to live and start the spark of a bigger movement where objects become autonomous. The identity of the lamp, images, a launch video and many forms of content are available for you to use.

About you

Activities

Your main focus is to maximize outreach and impact by developing a marketing plan to launch Sunne. This means you are able to juggle planning, timing, and resources while keeping sight of the scope of the project.

_ Development of a persuasive narrative for Kickstarter crowdfunding;
_ Take independent and creative responsibility for Kickstarter crowdfunding engaging with prospects;
_ Coordinate and manage Sunne’s social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn;
_ Research and advise on the social media channels that can be leveraged to deliver content to the target populations, such as Twitter and Instagram Story, Facebook chats, polling tools etc.;

_ Build strong relationships and partnerships with key influencers in design and tech;
_ Write and edit press releases and newsletter;
_ And probably extras we will learn to do while working on the campaign

Requirements

_ You think in terms of solutions, not problems;
_ Interested in working in design, innovation, and sustainability;
_ Fluent in writing and speaking – the campaign will be launched in English
_ 2 years experience and have a degree in a related communications field or relevant education and experience in lieu of a degree;
_ Experience using social media to engage diverse populations and preferably knowledge of how to best perform virtual outreach different targets.
_ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule & Environment:

_ This position will preferably work 12 hours per week and could be flexible.
_This position will primarily work remotely from home during the COVID-19 pandemic but is at times welcome to use the studio in the city of Amsterdam.

_Starting date: as soon as possible; end of project: April 2021
