Senior Payroll Analyst
to join their expanding EMEA Payroll Operations team in Amsterdam.
The successful candidate will be ensuring the accuracy of payroll records by updating the database with status changes, tax withholding, benefits deductions and time off accruals. He/She will also be expected to provide valuable support in the allocation and resolution of Payroll tickets.
Job Profile for Senior Payroll Analyst
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Coordinate efforts between payroll, human resources and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
- Prepare and distribute detailed reports on new hires, terminations, transfers, overtime and leave balances, etc.
- Establish and maintain employee records in the payroll data files
- Ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made in a timely manner and make sure they are provided from the authorised source
- Assign all open tickets in the Payroll SURF queue, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person and resolved on time
- Drive the resolution of all SURF ticket requests requiring standard responses such as system password resets, provision of payslip copies, request for basic payroll information etc.
- Provide best-in-class customer service support to the company’s employees via SURF ticket responses, emails and telephone
- Assist the Payroll Accountants in processing the monthly payrolls. Input special payroll check runs, such as bonuses and commissions, among others
- Audit inputs for accuracy and thoroughness, investigate and correct discrepancies
Candidate Profile for Senior Payroll Analyst
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Hebrew is highly recommended
- An Associate Degree in Business Administration/Finance is required, Accounting Degree is preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a payroll environment performing similar duties
- Knowledge of processing Irish or Israeli payroll is a must
- Experience working in a multinational company
- Knowledge of Workday and ADP GlobalView SAP Payroll is highly desirable
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Able to effectively communicate information to employees and management
- Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Able to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
