Our client is an international operating company in the leisure industry. 

Position

The Deputy Director Accounting is innovative with strong change management and good communication and social skills. He/she will be responsible for the further development of accounting & reporting in different European countries. The Deputy Accounting Director is heading the finance teams in two countries and he/she acts as a mentor and coach for the accounting team in The Netherlands. Overall he/she will be responsible for initiating, defining and executing projects to ensure a high quality and efficient accounting function. Therefor the Deputy Accounting Director guides, supports and motivates the people of the finance departments in this transformation process. He/she ensures transparency and realizes an efficient, modern and future prove accounting organization with high quality standards in terms of processes, systems and people.



Profile

• Master in relevant field; Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, CPA/RA is preferable.
• > 10 years solid experience in accounting & control, preferably in international and high complex environment.
• Brings experience in accounting and reporting standards.
• Savvy in the use of IT systems.
• An autonomous, insightful leader who can drive change in a complex, international environment.
• A fast, agile and creative mindset: thinking in solutions and opportunities.
• Energetic, has a passion for excellence and innovation.
• High integrity, open and trustworthy.
• Knowing the details but also having the macro-perspective.
• Brings a good balance between hands on mentality and strategic mindset.
