Job Summary Motion Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Industrial Software Engineer located in Woerden, Netherlands. This role is open for internal and external applications.As part of our growing process engineering team your will design and implement assembly- & test equipment software & electronics, create the software architecture for new assembly- & test processes. Represent organization on technology standard for industrial software & electronics.What a typical day looks like:In the passionate, collaborative, supportive 6-member team, your main tasks will be the following:Design and implement PC and PLC software for assembly- and test equipmentDesign algorithms for data analysis at assembly processes & test resultsProvide complex software development and consultation to prospective users.Coordinate software developments for future mass production assembly processesAdvice on application controls of assembly processesThe competencies we’re looking to add to our team:Skilled PLC programmingExperience with software programming in Beckhoff Twincat 3 or in automotive environmentKnowledge with visualization of assembly processes (HMI)English speaking and writingHere are a few of our preferred experiences:Knowledge of Automotive quality systems.
