Job Description:

• Drive projects to improve our Data Warehouse and ETL processes using Microsoft Stack and Azure Cloud technologies.
• Integrate new data sources into our Data Warehouse.
• Be responsible for the maintenance and development of the SQL server data warehouse, including data quality, data pipeline integrations, new data source synchronizations, query optimizations, etc.
• Develop practices for efficient design, deployment and documentation of our Business Intelligence environment.
• Help migrating the current data architecture and pipelines into a Cloud-based Data Warehouse.
• Manage and improve the data governance framework.
• Develop control structures to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Keep up to date with the state-of-the-art tools and technologies to drive improvements in Business Intelligence systems efficiency, process automations and reporting structures.
• Maintain and improve the monitoring and refinement of data models and reports.
• Keep up to date with the developments in the source systems and recommend opportunities for an enhanced Data Warehouse.

Requirement

• Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field of study.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in Business Intelligence Development, Data engineering or Data warehousing.
• Previous experience with data warehouse management. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of server maintenance tasks (performance optimization, indexing, backups, quality checks, etc.) and data governance.
• Experience with Cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Experience working with Azure Analysis Services and SSAS Tabular models is strongly preferred.
• Being able to translate business needs into future-proof data models.
• Knowledge in other programming languages as Python or R is a plus.
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment.
• Proactive attitude and eager to constantly improve yourself. You have a can-do mindset, take ownership and responsibilities and enjoy working with a diverse team of people.
• Able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
