Are you financially and analytically specialized and would you like to become a permanent employee as a Senior General Ledger Accountant at a dynamic, international and listed company?
Our client is a leading supplier of technological systems in the region The Hague and they are looking for a
Senior General Ledger Accountant / Senior Administrator
. You will ensure that all related accounting activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with international company policy, legislation and accounting standards. You spend half of your time on financial processes, internal and external financial reporting and the other half of your time you make financial analyses.

What do your tasks and responsibilities look like?
- Monitor and improve general ledger accounts for different entities, including revenue recognition and taxes
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with DUTCH-GAAP, IFRS, local government accounting policies and compliance with internal policies
- Providing various statements and relevant audit data for the audit firm’s audit procedures
- Providing monthly, quarterly and annual reports of the various entities
- Checking the entries and managing the accuracy and timeliness of the balance sheet positions
- Collection, verification and analysis of documents relating to the economic, tax and financial activities of the international company
- Consolidate results
- Preparation of annual accounts, tax returns and reports
- Ensure intercompany reconciliations
- Regularly check the financial objectives, including evaluation of deviations, budgets, forecasts, intercompany entries and profit margins
- Reporting to and supervising external auditors
- Ensure correct use of the chart of accounts and cost centres
- Taking care of the IFRS consolidation
What do we ask of you?
- As a GL accountant you have completed a HBO or University education in finance and control
- Experience with IFRS and DUTCH-GAAP
- Minimaal 5 years relevant work experience in an international environment
- Master the Dutch and English language fluently in oral and writing
- Strong analytical skills
- Communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience with SAP ERP system
- Experience with deadlines and priorities
- Accuracy
- Being able to function independently
