Your role

Video and motion is at the heart of Mingle. We want to create rich experiences that feel like magic and this is where you come in. As a motion graphics designer you will

• Create cool 3D athletes and sports animations
• Produce animation layovers in highlight videos
• 2D and 3D animations to explain challenges and training exercises
• Work with our mobile team for AR animations in realtime
• Build prototypes to test new ideas

What does your workweek look like?

With your fellow team members in the design team (UX, Art and graphic design) your are working on the MVP version of our Mingle App. It’s an app for high volume usage so details matter. You brainstorm for new ideas with your colleagues in the engineering and data science team and create a prototype to test them in real life. You will be going to tennis courts and soccer clubs to test your ideas. If you like sports yourself you can always go for a lunch run or play some soccer outside our Campus Werkspoor in the Werkspoorkwartier area in Utrecht.

About you

What do we expect from you?

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience conceptualizing and executing on motion graphics
• Produce animation layovers in highlight videos
• A portfolio that shows strong skills across 3D motion graphic design and live-action
• You know the ins and outs of animation - from concept to creation and beyond
• Deep expertise with Maya or 3ds Max, V-ray, Adobe CC, SketchUp
• Experience with Figma, Cinema 4D, Harmony and Unity are nice-to-haves
• Great attention to detail and passionate about 3D animation, graphic design, illustration, typography, color, composition and story rhythm
• An entrepreneurial drive in getting things done from project initiation to delivery
• Strong ability to multitask, organize, facilitate and collaborate within cross-functional teams
• Your English is very good so you can work with colleagues that speak English only.
