Your opportunity

As a Structural Engineer Siemen NX, you will be part of the Engineering Team specializing in mega yacht projects +80m. You will take on, independently or in a team, the project design and set up detail and production drawings according to the basic design and technical specifications for the hull, superstructure and related components of the vessel.

What you will do

• Gathering 

project information
 and analyzing the 
hull
 
drawings
, to stay up-to-date with all changes and alterations

• Performing the 

3D design of structures and data sheets
 ensuring integration with the rest of the project

• Thinking of 

creative solutions
 for 
complex problems
 to provide production support, where you could use your 
outside-the-box thinking

Actively 

cooperating with the other disciplines
 in the execution of the tasks, to ensure a smooth information flow

• Analyzing and checking the drawings in the process from 

engineering to production and delivery
, as you will be involved in several project stages

• Supporting the 

production team
 with solving problems

What you already have

+3 years of experience
 as a Structural Engineer in the yacht- or shipbuilding sectors
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Siemens NX
, Team Centre or similar
Clear and empathetic communication
, since you will be working across several departments and project teams

• Ability to work in a 

high-paced, international environment
Excellent communication skills
 and 
fluent English
, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team

• Available for 

full-time in Rotterdam area
