What are you going to do?
In this role as Sales Representative Laboratory, you play an important role in the sales of a wide range of laboratory products to various companies, universities, and schools. You will work together with a team of inside sales colleagues from the office to respond to, assess, and fulfill customer inquiries and requests.
- You will advise which products are best suited for the activities/needs in the respective laboratory. In addition to lab knowledge, a broad interest in various laboratories and their work is especially important.
- Your advise will be primarily based on product knowledge and customer understanding, even though this role is certainly commercial.
- Based on this, you will create quotations, process orders, and ensure that your clients receive their orders on time.
- Additionally, you will monitor internal stock and track orders with suppliers.
For the role of Sales Representative Laboratory, we are looking for a communicative candidate with a completed laboratory education who is eager to take a step into a commercial role.
- Completed laboratory education at MLO-4, HLO, or MSc level
- Broad laboratory experience will help you advise a wide range of clients
- Experience in a similar commercial role is a plus but not a must
- Excellent command of the Dutch language. English language skills are a plus

- Long-term employment, starting with a one-year contract directly with the company
- Salary indication of €2500 to €3500 gross per month based on full-time
- Full-time (40 hours/week), with 32 hours/week negotiable
Our client in Geldermalsen has been a well-known supplier of a wide range of laboratory products for 40 years. With a small team of 15 people, they supply laboratory equipment, consumables, and furnishings to many clients in the Benelux and even worldwide.

Via CheckMark een nieuwe uitdaging gevonden in een andere branch, bij Royal Talens in Apeldoorn. Telefonisch een goed eerste gesprek gehad over de vacature, gevolgd door een verdiepende Microsoft Teams-meeting (fijn om elkaar aan te kijken tijdens een gesprek). Uitgebreid gesproken over de vacature, maar ook over wat ik zocht en hoopte te vinden in een nieuwe uitdaging. De betrokkenheid van CheckMark, in de persoon van Na Rae De Jong, is me heel erg goed bevallen! Er wordt contact me je opgenomen om je voor te bereiden op de sollicitatiegesprekken. Na de eerste werkweek bij Royal Talens en tegen het eind van mijn proeftijd gebeld door Na Rae om te bespreken hoe het gaat.
